This high performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC) plate comprises a "Nano-Silica XHL" layer. The Silica 60 has a surface area of 500 m2/g, mean pore size of 60A, specific pore volume of 0.75 ml/g, and particle size of 2-10um. This analytical extra hard layer is bound to a glass support. It has a thickness of 200um and dimensions of 10x10cm. There are 25 plates per pack. The layer has an outstanding hardness and is abrasion resistant due to an optimized binder system. The plate can be easily labeled with a lead pencil for clear identification. There is an increased separation efficiency due to an optimized particle size distribution.

Chemglass Life Sciences TLC Developing Tank Complete, Latch-Lid
Heavy duty, molded TLC developing tank for use with plates up to 20 x 20 cm ( 8in x 8in). The weight of the tank is approximately 15 pounds and the bottom is ground to insure stability. The unique latching system holds the matching ground surfaces of the lid and tank firmly in place, enhancing the stability of the saturated atmosphere for the developing TLC plates. All of the metal components of the Latch-Lid mechanism are made of stainless steel. Inside dimensions of the tank are 27cm wide x 7cm deep x 26 cm high (10 5/8in x 2 7/8in x 10in). Tank is supplied complete with lid.
